He has held senior IT management positions at Occidental Petroleum, Taco Bell, Teleflora, and Lowe Enterprises.

Rick has consulted for Gartner, where he ran their IT Strategy & Transformation practice in N. America, Ernst & Young, Technology Solutions Company, KPMG/Nolan Norton, and D. Appleton Co.

He also founded Synergy Solutions, a firm focused on assisting companies improve business performance through information technology (IT), process innovation, and organizational development.   

His areas of expertise include IT Strategy, IT Architecture, Enterprise Lean, Information Technology driven Business Transformation, Software Development, including Agile and Off Shore Development, IT Cost Reduction, IT Transformation and large scale Program Management.   

Prior to co-founding IT Renaissance, Mr. Rothman was a Partner at Accenture, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte Consulting and Infosys Consulting.Mr. Rothman was the founder and President of Eagle Technology Partners, an e-Business Consulting and Systems Integration firm. He has also been a Sr. Vice President in the IT organizations of Nationwide Insurance and Fidelity Investments.
